Dr. Robert P. Runner Joins All-Star Orthopaedics Team
All-Star Orthopaedics is happy to announce the newest addition to our team, Dr. Robert P. Runner. He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip reconstruction and knee replacement. He earned his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at that same institution. Dr. Runner also pursued fellowship training in adult reconstruction through the Hoag Orthopaedic Institute/Orthopaedic Specialty Institute, further expanding his knowledge and skill set.
Dr. Runner is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He previously held a role as an assistant professor at Corewell Health, as well as an academic position teaching USC and Harbor UCLA residents. Dr. Runner won the William A. Grana Best Original Research Award from Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine in 2018 and served as the Administrative Chief Resident with Emory Orthopaedics from 2017 to 2018.
Dr. Runner is committed to improving patients’ quality of life by restoring joint function. With a special focus on hip and knee reconstruction, Dr. Runner utilizes advanced treatments and techniques to improve the effects of arthritis and many other debilitating conditions.
